Ultra High Purity Silicon

The dense, high performance, strongly adherent, conformal coating of silicon with excellent surface smoothness is deposited using Surmet's proprietary technology. Excellent adhesion and compliance on a wide variety of substrates lead to totally dust free parts that can be wipe-cleaned with solvents and cleaners as necessary.

	Lightweight composite space mirror coated with ~250 micron thick UHP silicon coating. The coating is then single point diamond turned to the required mirror finish.
	Entire vacuum chamber coated with UHP silicon coating to prevent microparticle reduction during semiconductor wafer processing.
